Appreciation for your help with Silver Lining Carnival on 26 Oct 2013
Thank you very much for your help at the Silver Lining Carnival yesterday. We are very blessed to have you people in our Heartwamers family. Everyone did a remarkable job and I believe the beneficiaries were grateful and had fun too!
I would like to express my gratitude to Shermin, Wen Qing, Joanne and the organising committee for putting in so much time, effort and dedication to make this event happen! They are the ones behind the great success of the entire event. Thank you!
I would also like to extend my appreciation to Wai Mun and her game stall team for organising the wonderful game for the beneficiaries. I am sure that the beneficiaries loved our game a lot as we have the most number of participation at our stall. Great job, well done!
Once again, special thanks to all the volunteers who have turned up to bring the beneficiaries to the event. I hope that all of you had fun too!
You may also provide us with any feedback with regards to the event via this email.
Enjoy your weekend and I see you next Saturday!

Goodies Bag Distribution @ Henderson CC on 20/7/13
Before I start with the activities for this week, below is an email from Mr Goh from CMH in response to Heartwarmers outing to Gardens By The Bay:
"Please convey our heartfelt thanks, on behalf of the residents who went for the outing, for the love and care shown by each and every one of the volunteers. You have put in so much time, effort and finances into organising this outing and making sure that all the residents are well taken care of. I was really encouraged to see at least one 3 generation family volunteering together.
I saw some of the volunteers connecting very well with the resident under their care, directing his / her attention to the colours of the flowers, and other highlights along the way. One of the volunteers took out her own jacket to cover a resident, when she realise that she was still feeling cold even under the CMH sweater. Another went to buy a packet of curry chicken for one of our staff when he found out that she does not take pork. I am sure that there were many personal touches that I did not notice, but all these went to make the outing so much more memorable for our residents."
Thank you Mr Goh for the message, our heartfelt thanks goes out to CMH and its staff as well for the support given to us throughout our time at CMH.
Lets all work together to bring more care and love to the beneficiaries at CMH.

~ Anthony, who have without fail provided his own personal stove and frying pan and gas for our monthly Food Festival.
~ Nimmi, who have kindly volunteered to purchase some brown sugar to be serve with the Prata.
Finally, I have managed to purchase another 3 more Non-stick induction frying pan, this will allows us to have more station to fry the roti prata this week.
A brief note on the process this weekend:
1) We will setup 3 stoves and 3 induction cookers to fry the Roti Prata (we will rotate volunteers to do the cooking to give everyone a chance to do it)
Concurrently, we will have volunteers to help prepare drinks to go with the Roti Prata.
2) All the cooked Prata will then be placed in trays and cover up to keep warm
3) Once we have prepared a sufficient quantity of Prata, we will start to place them in plates topped with curry and/or brown sugar.
4) If we have enough volunteers to go around, we will serve the prata and drinks to the beneficiaries.
Have a lovely week and may your days be filled with overflowing blessing. See you on Saturday!!
