Activities for 31/5/14

As it is the last week of the month, Mustard Seed will be serving breakfast at CMH.

Activities Session:
Time: 0900 - 1200 (Please reach on time)
Activities: Games 
IC 1 : Chee Wei
IC 2 : Wai Mun


Please take note of the following timeline :

9.00 - Setting Up Game Stalls (Canteen)
9.30 - Briefing of Game Rules (Canteen)
9.40 to 10.30 - Commence of Games (Canteen)
11 to 12 - Hawker Outing (Canteen)


Should time and weather permits, we will also be bringing the beneficiaries out for a meal at the nearby Market.

Activities for Saturday 24/5/14

First Session:
Breakfast
Time: 0645 - 0800
Food: Curry Chicken Noodles

Second Session:
Time: 0830 - 1300
Activities: Movie Screening with Fried Wantons and Snacks
IC 1: Bao Kuang
IC 2: Theophila


Details:
1) Movie will start at 9am sharp in order not to affect their lunch hours.
2) We will be preparing and serving fried wanton snacks and others snacks (e.g. popcorns and kacang puteh) for the beneficiaries.
3) Please reached by 8.30am as we will need to setup the place for the movie screening by arranging the chairs in front and moving the tables behind.

Should time and weather permits, we will also be bringing the beneficiaries out for a meal at the nearby Market.

Activities for Saturday 17/5/14

First Session:
Breakfast

Food: Mee Suah Soup

Second Session:
Time: 0830 - 1300
Activities: Food Festival - Rojak
IC 1: Poh Yen
IC 2: Pei Wen

Ingredients includes: Tau Pok, Green Apples, You Tiao, Grounded Peanuts, Rojak Sauce, Bean Sprouts... If you have Oven Toaster and would like to loan it to us for this event, please kindly bring along on the event day itself =)

A rough plan has been drawn up below. Plan may change with volunteer turnup.

Station 1: Cutting Station 1: Green Apples and Bean Sprout
Number of Volunteers: 3-4
Location: Kitchen
Job 1: Cutting up the green apples into slices to be stuff into the Tau Pok
Job 2: Boiling the bean sprouts

Station 2: Tau Pok Handling
Number of Volunteers: 4-5
Job 1: Slicing open a side of Tau Pok.
Job 2: Oven Toaster to cook the Tau Pok

Station 3: Tau Pok Handling (2) - Stuffing the Tau Pok
Number of Volunteers: 4-5
Job: Stuffing boiled Bean Sprout and Cut Cucumber into Tau Pok

Station 4: Cutting Station 2: You Tiao
Number of Volunteers: 3-4
Location: Kitchen
Job: Using Scissors, Cut up You Tiao into individual portion and place into bowl

Station 5: Final Station
Number of Volunteers: 3-4
Job 1: Start by mixing the Rojak Sauce
Job 2: Mixing Stuffed Tau Pok, You Tiao, Rojak Sauce and Grounded Peanuts
Job 2: Cut up the final product to enable "chokers" to eat comfortably
