Kindly take note there will not be any second service at Christalite Methodist Home due to our external Event but please do join us for the Mid- Autumn Celebration at 4pm !


~~~Mid-Autumn Celebration~~~

We will be bringing 20 residents out for a short trip to Admiralty Park for Mid-Autumn Celebration.
Serving of Chinese tea and mooncakes, not forgetting lighting up lantern whereby everyone come together to celebrate this harmonious occasion.

Location: CMH
Time: 4pm - 8.30pm
Reporting time : 4pm

Please help to bring hot flasks and torchlight if you have any of the items mentioned.

Activities for 29 August 2015

Breakfast will be carried out by Mustard Seed as it is the last week of the month.

Once again, a big thank you to North West CDC WeCare Fund for funding this outing.
This outing would not be possible without their support !

Event for 29 August 2015 - Outing - Shopping & Lunch at Long Jiang Restaurant

We will be bringing 30 beneficiaries to Big Box, each beneficiary will be given $15 to buy anything of their interest that is allowed by the Home. After which we will proceed to ORTO park for lunch at “Long Jiang Chinos”

Mini Carnival Details :
5 game stalls:
- Big Small 
- Basketball
- Shooting
- Tossing newspaper balls to hit drink cans
- Aiming Ping Pong Balls into baskets
1 Prize redemption stall (Biscuit, Coffee Powder, Maggi Noodle).
Rules of the Game :
- Each beneficiary will receive 10 ice cream sticks
- Beneficiary need to go around the 5 different game stalls to play and collect as many ice-cream sticks as possible however the winning number of ice-cream sticks varies for each game stalls
-Beneficiary can redeem prizes with their ice-cream sticks in the midst of the carnival if they do not want to play anymore
Role of the Volunteers : 
- Setting up the Stalls
-Volunteers will be assigned to be the IC for the different Game/Food/Prize Redemption Stalls 
- Push & encourage the push chair bound residents to participate 
-Clear up the mess and rearrange tables back to the original layout

Wheels For Good Event
Date: 15 August 2015
Time: 7.15am to 11am (Report 7.15am at CMH. Bus will depart at 7.30am sharp)
Venue: Bishan - Ang Mo Kio, Grand Lawn 1
Wheels for GOOD is organised by MWS, to celebrate Methodist Church in Singapore's 130th anniversary and Singapore's Golden Jubilee !

To raise funds for GOOD, MWS organised ‘Wheels for GOOD’, a wheels-themed family event. It comprises of a challenging component in which cyclists choose to traverse 50km or 13km and fun family races and games on wheels, such as inline skates and wheelchairs. Join MWS to help raise funds for the GOOD beneficiaries today.

Dear volunteers,
As we celebrate our Golden Jubilee, there will be no volunteer service this Saturday at CMH. Breakfast will be served by the staff of CMH.
There are many public attractions and events around the island with free or discounted admission for you to explore! Take this time to celebrate our 50th year of independence with your family and friends.
